The Medford Area School District Referendum was a school bond on the April 7 ballot for voters in Taylor County in the Medford Area School District by the School Board. The measure sought to issue debt in the amount of $$13,190,000 for improvements to the high school.

Status

Defeated, with 1,191 "yes" votes and 2,505 "no" votes.[1]

Wording of referendum

BE IT RESOLVED by the School Board of the Medford Area Public School District, Taylor and Marathon Counties, Wisconsin that there shall be issued pusuant [sic] to Chapter 67 of the Wisconsin Statutes, general obligation bonds in an amount not to exceed $13,190,000 for the public purpose of paying the cost of adding to and improving the high school facility; acquiring related equipment; and making related site improvements.[1]
