Melanie Goodwin (b. July 22, 1970) was a Democratic member of the North Carolina House of Representatives. She represented District 66 from 2005-2010.

Goodwin received her Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill in 1992. She earned her law degree from Campbell University in 2000. She is an attorney. She and her husband, Wade, have one child, Madison.

Goodwin initially declared for election and won the Democratic primary on May 4. However, she dropped out and chose to vacate her seat.[1]
