A Memphis School District Bond Measure will be on the May 8, 2012 ballot in the Anchor Bay school district area which is in Macomb St. Clair.

This measure sought to issue a bond in the amount of $950,000 in order to help pay for remodeling, upgrading technology and improving sites in general as needed in the district.[2]

The question on the ballot:

Shall the Memphis Community Schools, St. Clair and Macomb Counties, Michigan, borrow the sum of not to exceed Nine Hundred Fifty Thousand Dollars (950,000) and issue its general obligation unlimited tax bonds therefore, for the purpose of: remodeling, equipping and re-equipping and furnishing and refurnishing school district buildings; acquiring and installing educational technology in school district buildings; purchasing school buses; constructing and equipping a bulk salt shelter; and developing and improving sites?
