This measure sought to add to the current library levy by a rate of $.20 per $100 of assessed property value for a period of five years in order to further pay for current expenses in the library district.[3]
Text of measure
The question on the ballot:
| An additional tax for the benefit of Mentor Public Library for the purpose of current expenses at a rate not exceeding 2 mills for each one dollar of valuation, which amounts to 20 cents for each one hundred dollars of valuation, for five years, commencing in 2012, first due in calendar year 2013. |
