Meridian School District Bond Measure (February 2010)
From Ballotpedia
There will be a Meridian School District Bond Measure on the February 9 ballot in Whatcom County for voters in the Meridian School District.
This measure seeks to create a bond in the amount of $17 million in order to help rebuild Meridian High School and expend Irene Reither Primary School. If this bond is passed the state of Washington would also give $11.1 million to help with these school projects. Property taxes would be raised by 2 cents for residents in the district, the taxes from a previous bond would also help pay for this new one.[1]
