This measure sought to add to the current parks levy by a rate of $.05 per $100 of assessed property value for a further five years in order to further pay for parks and recreation costs in the village.[2]
Text of measure
The question on the ballot:
| An additional tax for the benefit of the Village of Metamora for the purpose of parks and recreation at a rate not exceeding 0.5 mill for each one dollar of valuation, which amounts to $0.05 for each one hundred dollars of valuation, for 5 years, commencing in 2012, first due in calendar year 2013. |
