Michael Beard (b. July 22, 1953) is a Republican member of the Minnesota House of Representatives, representing District 55A since 2013 and currently serving as an Assistant Minority Whip. He previously represented District 35A from 2003 to 2013.

Beard is Publisher of the Minnesota Christian Chronicle Newspaper. He previously worked as Owner/Operator of the Macalester Park Public Company from 1987-1995.

Beard served on the Minnesota Regional Transit Board from 1993-1995, and the Shakopee City Council from 1991-1995.

He is married and has 4 children.[1]
