Michael Dacquisto was a 2012 Republican candidate seeking election to the U.S. House representing the 1st Congressional District of California.

Biography

Dacquisto earned his BA in Economics from Stanford University in 1975. He went on to receive his JD from the University of Southern California Law School in 1978. Dacquisto has worked as a self-employed attorney since receiving his law degree. He has also been employed as a bankruptcy trustee since 1997.

Dacquisto has stated the following about his political philosophy in a biographical submission to Ballotpedia:

"I am a conservative. The debt and deficit are out of control. This country is bankrupt. I will not raise the debt which will force Wa shying ton to reduce spending to sustainable levels"[1]
