Michael Lamoureux (b. June 2, 1976) is a Republican member of the Arkansas State Senate, representing District 16 since 2013. Lamoureux previously represented District 4 after winning a special election on December 16, 2009 and serving until 2013. He served as State Senate Minority Whip.

He previously served in the Arkansas House of Representatives from 2002 to 2008. From 2005 to 2006, he served as House Minority Leader.

Lamoureux earned his BS from Arkansas Tech University in 1997. He went on to receive his JD from the University of Arkansas in 1999. He currently works as an attorney.

Lamoureux ran for re-election in the 2012 election for Arkansas Senate, District 16. Lamoureux ran unopposed in the May 22 Republican primary and ran unopposed in the general election on November 6, 2012.[1][2][3]

2010

Lamoureux's seat was not up for election in 2010.

2009

On December 8, 2009, Lamoureux won election to the 4th District Seat in the Arkansas State Senate, defeating opponents John Burnett (D) and Tachany Evans (Ind). The special election was held to replace Sharon Trusty.[4]
