Michael Obuchowski (b. February 4, 1952) was a Democratic member of the Vermont House of Representatives, representing Windham-4. Obuchowski resigned to become Vermont’s Commissioner of Buildings and General Services.[1]

Obuchowski joined the Vermont State House of Representatives in 1973. He served in that position until his resignation in January 2011, representing the Windham-4 District. He served as Speaker of the House since 1995.

Obuchowski worked as an Assistant to the Chief Executive Officer for Basketville, Incorporated.

Obuchowski attended Harvard College.

Obuchowski won re-election to the Windham 4 District in 2010. He ran against Carolyn Partridge (D), and Christopher Moore (I) in the general election on November 2, 2010.[2]
