Biography

Zalewski earned his B.A. in Political Science from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign and his J.D. from John Marshall Law School. His professional experience includes working as a Prosecutor in the Cook County State's Attorney's Office.[1]

Zalewski won re-election to the 21st District Seat in 2010 with no opposition. He defeated Terrence Collins in the Democratic primary on February 2nd by a margin of 8,951 to 3,420. The general election took place on November 2, 2010.[7]
