The Michigan Director of Licensing and Regulatory Affairs is a state executive position in the Michigan state government. The position was known as the Director of Labor and Economic Growth until 2011.
Current officeholder
The current director is Steve Arwood, who has served in this position since December 2012. He replaced Steven Hilfinger who resigned this position in November 2012 to become chief operating officer of the Michigan Economic Development Corp.[1]
Hilfinger was the first Director of Licensing and Regulatory Affairs.
