Contents |
Channell founded Corner Pantry Food Marts, running them from 1966-1990. He was Co-Owner of Channell Super Valu from 1963-1972, and founder of a Real Estate Holding Company, Channell Enterprises.
He served on the Greene County Board of Education from 1980-1992, and on the Greene County Board of Commissioners from 1972-1980.
Channell is a member of the Central and Southern Bank of Greensboro Board of Directors, First United Methodist Church of Greensboro, Georgia Cities Foundation Board of Directors, Georgia Retail Grocers Association Board of Directors, Mercer University School of Medicine Board of Directors, and the National Association of Convenience Stores Board of Directors.[1]
