Middleport Village Current & Police Levy Measures, 2 (March 2012)
The first measure sought to renew the current expenses levy which is set at a rate of $.30 per $100 of assessed property value for a period of five years in order to continue to pay for current expenses in the village.
The second measure sought to add to the current police levy by a rate of $.20 per $100 of assessed property value for a period of five years in order to further pay for police protection services in the village

The question on the ballot:
| Question 1: A renewal of a tax for the benefit of Middleport Village for the purpose of Current Expenses at a rate not exceeding 3 mills for each one dollar of valuation, which amounts to thirty cents ($0.30) for each one hundred dollars of valuation, for five (5) years, commencing in 2012, first due in calendar year 2013.
Question 2: An additional tax for the benefit of Middleport Village for the purpose of Police Protection at a rate not exceeding 2 mills for each one dollar of valuation, which amounts to twenty cents ($0.20) for each one hundred dollars of valuation, for five (5) years, commencing in 2012, first due in calendar year 2013.
