A Midland Village Current Levy Renewal measure was on the March 6, 2012 ballot in the village of Midland which is in Clinton County.

This measure sought to renew the current expenses levy which was set at a rate of $.30 per $100 of assessed property value for a further five years in order to continue to pay for current expenses as needed in the village.[2]

Text of measure

The question on the ballot:

A renewal of a tax for the benefit of the Village of Midland, for the purpose of current expenses, at a rate not exceeding three (3) mills for each one dollar of valuation, which amounts to thirty cents ($0.30) for each one hundred dollars of valuation, for five (5) years, commencing in 2012, first due in calendar year 2013.
