The question on the ballot:

SHALL THE MIDWAY RANCHES FIRE PROTECTION DISTRICT TAXES BE INCREASED $17,321.00 ANNUALLY OR BY SUCH LESSER ANNUAL AMOUNT AS MAY BE NECESSARY TO PAY THE DISTRICTS OPERATIONS, MAINTENANCE, AND OTHER BUDGET EXPENSES; SUCH TAXES TO CONSIST OF AN AD VALOREM MILL LEVY IMPOSED AT A RATE NOT TO EXCEED 18.76 MILLS OR WITH SUCH ADDITIONAL LIMITATIONS AS MAY BE DETERMINED BY THE BOARD, AND IN AMOUNTS SUFFICIENT TO PRODUCE THE VOTER AUTHORIZED AMOUNT SET FORTH ABOVE OR SUCH LESSER AMOUNTS AS MAY BE NECESSARY, TO BE USED FOR THE PURPOSES OF PAYING THE DISTRICT’S OPERATIONS, MAINTENANCE, AND OTHER EXPENSES; AND SHALL THE PROCEEDS OF SUCH TAXES AND INVESTMENT INCOME THEREON CONSTITUTE VOTER APPROVED REVENUE CHANGES AND BE COLLECTED AND SPENT BY THE DISTRICT IN 2012 AND IN EACH YEAR THEREAFTER WITHOUT REGARD TO ANY SPENDING, REVENUE RAISING, OR OTHER LIMITATION CONTAINED WITHIN ARTICLE X, SECTION 20 OF THE COLORADO CONSTITUTION, OR SECTION 29-1-301, COLORADO REVISED STATUTES?[3]
