Career
Barkley was in the U.S. Navy from 1964 to 1967.[1] Throughout his professional career, he worked as an accounting manager at Sierra Pacific Insurance, as a programmer-analyst at Insurnet and Pacific Bell, and is a published author.[1]
Elections
2012
Barkley ran in the 2012 election for the U.S. House, representing California's 10th District. He was defeated in the June 5, 2012, open primary.[2][3]
