Hall served in the West Virginia State House of Delegates from 1994 to 2004. In 2004, he served as Minority Whip in the West Virginia House.
Biography
Hall earned his BA in Philosophy/Political Science from Marshall University in 1970. He went on to earn his MDiv from the Methodist School of Theology in 1996.
Since 1994, Hall has been National Field Representative in Insurance Annuities and Relief for the Presbyterian Church. Hall has worked as a financial advisor for Hallason Limited Liability Company on Fourth Avenue. He also worked as a minister for the Methodist Church from 1972 to 1981. He went on to work as a minister for the Presbyterian Church from 1981 to 1994. [1]

2014
While no candidates have officially filed and the deadline is not until January 2014, several Republicans are considering running for West Virginia's 2nd congressional seat including Tim Armstead, Eric Nelson, Patrick Lane, Steve Harrison, Mike Hall and Mike Stuart.[2]
2012
Hall ran for West Virginia Treasurer in 2012. He defeated Steve Connolly in the May 8 Republican Primary.[3] Incumbent John Perdue ran for re-election on the Democratic ticket and defeated Hall in the general election on November 6, 2012.[4]
