Michael Jorgenson (b. January 13, 1949) has been a Republican member of the Idaho Senate since 2004. Jorgenson was re-elected in November of 2008 with his term expiring in 2010.

Jorgenson graduated with his bachelor's degree in Business and Economics from Eastern Oregon University in 1971.

Jorgenson is the Owner and President of CDA Consulting since 2000 and was formerly the President of two financial consulting firms from 1987 to 2000. Jorgenson began his professional career as a Branch Manager for SnapOn Tools from 1972 to 1986.

Before Jorgenson was a Senator, he was a City Council member for the City of Hayden Lake from 2001 to 2004 and served as the President of the Council in 2003. Also, Jorgenson was a lead fundraiser for the Butch Otter for Congress campaign and currently serves as the 3rd Senate district chairman for the Idaho Republican Party.

Mike is married to Cynthia Jorgenson. The couple has two children and live in Hayden Lake, Idaho.
