Mike O'Day was a Republican member of the Texas House of Representatives, representing District 29 from January 24, 2007, to January 13, 2009.[1]



O'Day ran in a special election on December 19, 2006, after incumbent Glenda Dawson passed away on September 12, 2006. O'Day and Randy Weber (R) defeated John Gorman (R) and Anthony DiNovo (D) in the special election. O'Day defeated Weber in the runoff election January 16, 2007, and was sworn into office on January 24, 2007.[1][2]
