Mike Ross (b. November 8, 1937) was a Democratic member of the West Virginia House of Delegates, representing District 37. Ross served in the West Virginia State Senate, District 15, from 1992 to 2004. He ran for re-election in 2004 and 2008 but was not re-elected. He was then appointed to the West Virginia State House of Delegates in 2009 to fill the seat of deceased Delegate Bill Proudfoot.[1]

Ross attended Davis and Elkins College in 1958. Ross has been the President of Ross and Wharton Gas Corporation since 1985. He has also been Board Chairman of Mike Ross, Incorporated from 1995 to the present. He has worked as President of Braxton Oil and Gas Corporation from 1997 to the present, as well.[2]
