Mike Sanders is a Republican member of the Oklahoma House of Representatives. He has represented the 59th District since 2008. He is currently a Deputy Majority Whip.

Sanders graduated with a degree in History and Pre-Law from Oklahoma Christian University in 1997. He is employed by Sanders Funeral Service; served as senior advisor for the Natural Resources Conservation Service; and was deputy chief of staff for Rural Development, United States Department of Agriculture. He and his wife, Nellie Taylor, have one child, Davis.

Sanders ran in the 2012 election for Oklahoma House District 59. Sanders defeated Rodney Hiebert in the Republican primary on June 26 and was unchallenged in the general election which took place on November 6, 2012.[1][2][3]
