Mike Sottile (b. June 7, 1948) is a Republican member of the South Carolina House of Representatives, representing District 112.

Education

Sottile attended Baptist College of Charleston.

Professional experience

Sottile served in the United States Air Force from 1968 to 1972. He is currently an Independent Insurance Agent.

Political experience

Sottile served as Councilman for the City of Isle of Palms from 1990 to 2001. He then served as Mayor of the City of Isle of Palms from 2001 to 2008. He currently serves in the South Carolina House of Representatives, representing the 112th District.

Sottile defeated Joe Bustos in the June 8 Republican primary for District 112 of the South Carolina House of Representatives by a margin of 3,047-2,848. Sottile defeated Aaron Stransky (L) in the general election on November 2[4].
