Smith is Owner and Operator of Tax Consultants, Incorporated. He founded the Century 21 M.E. Smith Company in 1977, and worked for the Cummins Engine Company from 1968-1975.
He is a member of the Council for Youth Development, Elks Club of Columbus, Family School Partners Advisory Council, and the First Christian Church of Columbus.[1]
