==Inver Groves Heights School District Referendum==

The Inver Groves Heights School District 199 is asking voters to renew a $1.6 million-per-year operating levy that was first voted on in 1998. The levy would increase taxes on an average home by approximately $10.25 per month. [1]

South St. Paul Special District Referendum

The South St. Paul Special School District 6 is asking voters to renew and increase the school district's annual capital project levy authorization of $658,471. Some of this proposed levy would replace the existing levy, which is due to expire in 2009, and the rest is additional. The levy would increase taxes on an average home by approximately $1.00 per month. [1]

Ramsey County won't vote on electing sheriffs

Members of the appointed 17-member Ramsey County Charter Commission voted on May 6 not to place a question on the November ballot in Ramsey County that would have chosen whether or not future sheriffs of the county should be elected or appointed. [2]
