The Missouri Missouri Branch Banking Initiative, also known as Proposition 3, was on the November 4, 1958 ballot in Missouri as an initiated state statute, where it was defeated. The measure would have permitted banking institutions, upon approval from the Commissioner of Finance, to establish and operate branches within the city, town, village, county, urban area or constitutional charter city, in which its principal office is located.[1][2]
