Missouri Issue 1 (General) (1988) was a measure regarding the legislature. This measure was referred to the election ballot by the Missouri State Legislature. It passed with 71.8% of voters in favor.
Text of measure
Changes length of annual sessions of the legislature; requires budget completion one week before the end of session, and authorizes special session when petitioned by three-fourths of the members of each house.[1]
