The Missouri Legislative Sessions Amendment, also known as Amendment 1, was on the November 8, 1988 ballot in Missouri as a legislatively-referred constitutional amendment, where it was approved. The measure changed the length of the annual legislative sessions. The measure also required a budget completion one week before the end of the session and authorized a special sexxion when petitioned by three-fourths of the members of each house.[1][2]
