The Missouri Commercial Vehicles Referendum, also known as Referendum 1, was on the April 6, 1982 ballot in Missouri as a veto referendum, where it was defeated. The measure would have permitted longer and heavier trucks on Missouri interstates and highways and extended metropolitan commercial zones.[1][2]
