A Moffat County Marijuana Dispensaries Question was on the November 2, 2010 ballot in Moffat County.

This measure was approved meaning dispensaries will not be allowed in the county.

  • YES 2,702 Approveda
  • NO 1,896[1]

This measure asked voters if they wanted to prohibit dispensaries and pot growing operations in the unincorporated areas of the county. The issue was debated whether it would be on the ballot, council members had till October 3 to pull it if they wished.[2] The County Commission had held another meeting and were still undecided on if this should be included on the ballot. If no action had been taken by the Commission, it was to remain on the ballot. Most Commissioners agreed that it should stay on the ballot, just so the voters could voice their opinions on the issue. Ballots had already been printed with the issue on it, so if the commission ultimately decided not to have the issue on, the votes would have just not counted.[3]
