Todd ran in the 2012 election for Missouri House of Representatives, District 106. Todd was chosen as a replacement candidate for Tom Fann, who withdrew from the race in August.[1] Todd was defeated by District 15 incumbent Chrissy Sommer (R) in the general election, which took place on November 6, 2012.[2]
