Blair ran in the 2010 election for North Carolina State House District 4. Blair was defeated by Republican James Dixon in the general election on November 2, 2010. Blair was unopposed in the Democratic primary election on May 4, 2010.[2][3]

Campaign

Blair's Republican opponent says Blair is misleading voters. Dixon says Blair is obscuring his true positions on issues in a series of campaign mailers. In the pamphlets Blair attempts to distance himself from the Democratic Party, but he was a chair of the Duplin County Democratic Party and was a delegate to the 2008 Democratic National Convention.[4]
