A Mutual Village Fire Levy Renewal measure was on the November 8, 2011 ballot in the village of Mutual which is in Champaign County.

This measure sought to renew the current fire levy which is set at a rate of $.15 per $100 of assessed property value for a further five years in order to continue to pay for fire apparatus and building maintenance costs in the village.[2]

A renewal of a tax for the benefit of the Village of Mutual for the purpose of PROVIDING AND MAINTAINING FIRE APPARATUS, APPLIANCES, BUILDINGS OR SITES at a rate not exceeding 1.5 mills for each one dollar of valuation, which amounts to $0.15 for each one hundred dollars of valuation, for five years, commencing in 2011, first due in calendar year 2012.
