Nancy Argenziano was a 2012 Independent candidate for District 34 of the Florida House of Representatives.
Elections
2012
Argenziano ran in the 2012 election for the U.S. House, representing Florida's 2nd District. Argenziano was seeking the nomination on the Independent ticket, after being barred from running as a Democrat. [1] The signature filing deadline was May 7, 2012, with the primary taking place on August 14, 2012. Incumbent Steve Southerland II is seeking re-election on the Republican ticket.
On March 21, 2012, Argenziano announced that she would abandon her congressional campaign in favor of a run for Florida State House.[2]
Argenziano ran in the 2012 election for Florida House of Representatives District 34. Argenziano ran as an Independent candidate and was defeated by incumbent Jimmie Todd Smith (R) in the general election which took place on November 6, 2012.[3]
