On November 4, 2008, Elliott was re-elected by finishing eighth for the eight-seat Hillsborough District 19 of the New Hampshire House of Representatives receiving 6,047 votes, behind Republicans Robert L'Heureux (7,899), Peter Batula (7,007), D.L. Christensen (6,653), Tony Pellegrino (6,606), Dick Hinch (6,521), and Peyton Hinkle (6,442), Democrat James O'Neil (6,105), and ahead of Republican Richard Barry (6,025), Democrats Rose Arthur (5,250), Andrew Sylvia (5,013), Kimberly Kojak (4,843), Ilene Therrien (4,303), Richard Arthur (4,126), and Evan Fulmer (3,740). [2]
