Issue positions

Mason's answers to the Arizona State Legislative Election 2008 Political Courage Test are provided. The test provides voters with how a candidate would vote on the issues if elected. When asked her legislative priorities she replied:

"1)We must cut state spending in order to balance our budget. We have no more "gimmicks" to use. State spending has increased beyond what is necessary to provide basic government services. 2) Re-prioritize spending away from social programs to public safety and infrastructure -- the fundamental responsibilities of the state."[2]
