The Nevada Senate is the upper house of the Nevada State Legislature consists of 21 senators representing 19 districts with an average population of 118,800 based on the 2007 census estimate. The Nevada legislature is biennial, convening only in odd-numbered years. Senators are elected for four year terms, and are limited to serving no more than three terms. The Senate meets at the State Capitol in Carson City
