ALBUQUERQUE, New Mexico: Secretary of State Mary Herrera is proposing new rules to keep voter information private[1].

The new measures would prohibit voters from accessing the voter roster after election day. Under current law, any person can access the voter roster to determine if someone voted for a particular candidate or party[1].

Herrera said that the new measures would protect ballot secrecy[1].
