OKLAHOMA CITY, Oklahoma:Democratic State Senator Tom Ivester has written Senate Bill 312, which requires any public university employee in Oklahoma to go to the police when they hear of sexual assault or other violent crimes involving students. In addition, campus police departments are required to work with local law enforcement agencies in assault investigations.[1]

The bill aims to prevent issues that surfaced during the Penn State scandal.[1]
