A New Paris Village Income Tax Implementation measure will be on November 8, 2011 ballot in the village of New Paris which is in Preble County.

This measure sought to implement an income tax in the village.[1] The income tax would be set at a rate of 1 percent. Village officials had approved the tax, but residents were able to petition and obtain the necessary signatures to force the issue to a vote. Village officials note that the income tax is needed because of increased state cuts and no other means of income for the village. The tax would raise an estimated $100,000 a year for village needs.[2]
