New York's 11th congressional district is located in the southeastern portion of the state and includes Richmond County.[1]
It previously included the neighborhoods of Brownsville, Crown Heights, East Flatbush, Flatbush, Kensington, Park Slope, Prospect Heights, and Prospect-Lefferts Gardens.
The current representative of the 11th congressional district is Michael Grimm (R).

The 11th congressional district of New York held an election for the U.S. House of Representatives on November 6, 2012. Incumbent from the 13th district, Michael Grimm won the election in the district.[2]

On November 4, 2008, Yvette D. Clarke won re-election to the United States House. She defeated Hugh C. Carr (R) and Cartrell Gore (Conservative) in the general election.[4]

On November 7, 2006, Yvette D. Clarke won election to the United States House. She defeated Stephen Finger (R), Marianna Blume (Conservative), Ollie M. McClean (Freedom Party) in the general election.[5]

On November 2, 2004, Major R. Owens won re-election to the United States House. He defeated Lorraine Stevens (I) and Sol Lieberman (Conservative) in the general election.[6]
