Boldyga won re-election in the 2012 election for Massachusetts House of Representatives Third Hampden District. Boldyga was unopposed in the September 6 Republican primary and defeated Samuel Salvatore DiSanti, Jr. (D) in the general election which took place on November 6, 2012.[1]

Boldyga won election to the Third Hampden Seat in 2010. He had no primary opposition. He defeated Rosemary Sandlin (D) and Anthony Bonavita (I)in the general election on November 2, 2010.[2]
