Ciparro ran in the 2012 election for the U.S. House, representing Tennessee's 2nd District. Ciparro was defeated by incumbent John J. Duncan, Jr. in the August 2, 2012 Republican primary.[2]

2010

Stacey Campfield defeated Ciparro, Ron Leadbetter, and Steve Hill in the August 5 primary.[3] Campfield faced Democrat Randy Walker and independent Chuck Williams in the general election on November 2, 2010.
