Nicholas Scutari has been a Democratic member of the New Jersey Senate since 2004. Bills that have been sponsored by Senator Scutari include Senate Bill 103 and Senate Bill 115.^[1]

Scutari graduated with a B.A. in psychology from Kean University and also graduated with an Ed.M. in Education from Rutgers University. Scutari later obtained a J.D from Thomas M. Cooley Law School.^[2]

In addition to being a senator, Scutari is an attorney at his law practice, Law Offices of Nicholas P. Scutari. Scutari is also the chair for the State Government and is the prosecutor for Linden, New Jersey.^[3]
