Manolakos is Vice Principal at Alexis I. DuPont High School, and previously served as Principal of Skyline Middle School, and Assistant Principal at Cab Calloway School of the Arts.

2010
Manolakos won re-election to the 20th District Seat in 2010. He had no primary opposition. Manolakos defeated Francis J. Swift, Jr. (D) in the November 2, 2010 general election.[3]

On November 4, 2008, Manolakos won election to the Delaware House of Representatives from Delaware's 20th District, defeating Daniel Rappa (BEP). Manolakos received 8,045 votes in the election while Rappa received 24 votes.[4] Manolakos raised $52,563 for his campaign.[5]
