Nicole Castellano was a 2012 Democratic candidate for District 39 of the New Mexico State Senate. She received her Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from the University of North Texas and her Executive Master's of Business Administration from Baylor University.[1]

Issues

One of her primary campaign issues was Education. She said she would push funding and accountability for schools in New Mexico. She pledged to eliminate all state funding for Monsanto. Castellano said she would promote job growth and health care for seniors and veterans. She supports civil unions and women's right to chose.[2]

Castellano ran in the 2012 election for New Mexico State Senate District 39. She ran against Jack Sullivan and incumbent Phil Griego in the Democratic primary on June 5, 2012. Griego won the primary.[3][4]
