Fliers have been produced and handed out in Lancaster County, PA warning voters of voter intimidation by Republican operatives. The flier tells voters to be on alert for attempts to challenge their eligibility to caste a ballot. It warns students and “people of color” they could be targeted, and some people might be told they cannot vote if they did not cast a ballot in the primaries, are delinquent on child support or have outstanding parking tickets.[1]

Republican Response

The McCain CampaignMcCain campaign has responded to the flier saying that the information is completely false. They state that it is an attempt by Democrats to create a lot of "smoke". The McCain campaign, however, is concerned about the potential for voter fraud. Those concerns primarily focused around the community group ACORN, which Republicans seized on after workers were accused of faking thousands of voter registrations.[1]
