The North Carolina Natural Gas Bonds, also known as the $200,000,000 Natural Gas Bonds, was on the November 3, 1998 election ballot in North Carolina. It passed, with 51.1% of voters in favor.

The language that appeared on the ballot:

Proposes the issuance of $200,000,000 State of North Carolina Natural Gas Bonds constituting general obligation bonds of the state secured by a pledge of the faith and credit and taxing power of the state for the purpose of providing funds, with any other available funds, to provide grants, loans, or other financing to public or private entities for construction of natural gas facilities in order to facilitate the expansion of natural gas facilities to unserved portions of the state.
