North Dakota 2008 ballot measures
The deadline for filing signatures to make the November 4 ballot in North Dakota was midnight on Tuesday, August 5.
- Through 2006, a total of 170 citizen-initiated ballot propositions had appeared on North Dakota's ballot since the beginning of the process in 1918. Of those, 78 passed and 92 failed.
- With three initiatives on the 2008 ballot, the historical total of North Dakota's citizen initiatives increased to 173.

|Measure 1||Admin of gov't||A concurrent resolution for the amendment of section 6 of article IV of the Constitution of North Dakota, relating to the appointment of a member of the legislative assembly to a full-time appointive state office.|
|Measure 1||Taxes||A concurrent resolution to create and enact a new section to article X of the Constitution of North Dakota, relating to establishment and use of a permanent oil tax trust fund; and to provide an effective date.|
