The North Dakota Gasoline Motor Fuel Initiative was on the June 25, 1940 ballot in North Dakota as an initiated constitutional amendment, where it was approved.[1] The measure dedicated highway user taxes to defray cost of construction and maintenance of highways.[2][3]
