The North Dakota Official Newspapers Initiative, also known as Legal Notices Initiative, was on the November 2, 1920 ballot in North Dakota as an initiated state statute, where it was approved.[1] The measure defined the duties of official newspapers and designated certain notices they would be required to publish. It also removed language that had required certain court actions and foreclosures to be published in an official county newspaper.[2]
